  • Concrete surrounds are pinned to the existing pool structure or if there is a failure to properly install expansion joints (either horizontally or vertically) in the surrounds.
  • The pool’s chemical levels are not monitored and logged weekly by a professional.
  • There are any load-bearing structures, excavations, or penetrations within the area of influence of the existing pool structure or surrounding pipework.
  • The pool filter cartridge is not cleaned and the skimmer basket is not emptied weekly (or sooner, if necessary).
  • The water level is not maintained 50mm below the underside of the coping.
